Theater 

Steven has over forty years experience working within the theater industry- on stage and off. He has played many varied roles in musicals and plays, including the plant Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors. He also played George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? This is just to name a few of what Steven calls "his favorite roles he has played." 


Broadcasting

Steven has worked on and off in broadcasting since he was sixteen years old. He had his first on-air radio show at the age of 20. He has had morning drive time shows and always has favored talk radio over other forms. He is a skilled interviewer. Steven had interviewed everyone from Geraldo, to Deepak Chopra, to Anne Rice, just to name a few. Steven has worked as a producer for on-air talk radio and podcasts throughout the years. For the last twenty years Steven has become a featured guest on some of the largest radio networks and television news sources throughout the world. 


Writing

Steven is an accomplished published author. Many of his written works can be found within the Library of Congress. His books have won numerous awards and recognition throughout the years. 


Television and Film

Steven has been featured in many projects throughout the years. He has also worked as producer, writer and director on numerous film projects. Many of his projects can still be viewed on major networks today.

SPECIALTIES

Steven LaChance has been called one of the most prolific supernatural writers of this generation. In 2007, he released the bestselling non-fiction book The Uninvited, which detailed the true story of his own personal haunting living in the infamous Screaming House. In 2014, Steven released the long awaited sequel to The Uninvited, Blessed are the Wicked, which completed the two-book Screaming House series.


Crazy: A Prayer for the Dead, is the full-length version of the Truck Stop Hell story from Crazy, the short story collection. It was released for Halloween 2016 and immediately gained a large cult following.


On February 8, 2017, Steven published his long awaited book on the 1949 St. Louis Exorcism case.- the same case the blockbuster film The Exorcist was based upon. Confrontation with Evil was one of the most anticipated true-life paranormal books of 2017. The book was based upon Steven's decade of research into this horrifying case. It revealed new insight and evidence never before shared with the public. It won numerous awards and was featured in the New York Post and The Sun. St. Louis GO Magazine voted the book the Best Book of 2018. The book was released in a Special Edition, which includes new information and photos. The book and Steven were also featured in the 1895 Films documentary The Exorcism of Roland Doe.  


Steven has appeared on numerous television, film and radio programs worldwide. He has been featured on NBC News, CBS News, Travel Channel, Chiller, CNN, Destination America, the Discovery Channel, Warner Brothers, Universal, Sony plus many more. Steven has also worked for the popular television series, Supernatural. You can currently see Steven on the Discovery+ in the Travel Channel documentary, The Exorcism of Roland Doe. 


Steven currently lives in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with his husband Rick Brandt.
